This paper attempt to analyze identity formation processes of mixed race college students. The data was collected through in depth interviews with self-identifying mixed race students. The line of questioning was designed to tease out details and memories from the students\u27 childhood interactions with parents or other influential figures that helped the students culturally connect to their races.This paper is a start to important research about identity formation of mixed race people, a topic that has little published research
